Jive by Night (City) – Friday Nights 7pm till Midnight
We had a great night last week in the magnificent Ballroom at the German Club. We’ve now moved down to the 2nd level with a great dance floor and nice tables you can sit and have a breather at while you have a drink with some great people.
Tommo and myself ran cool intermediate routine with some fun slides and a new bit lady styling in the lady impro that I’d never taught before. Check out the website for the video of last week’s intermediate routine so you can practice the moves with all your favourite dancers this Friday night!Remember you’re always welcome to come and ask me if you have any questions about the moves!

Sometimes dancing is not about being a great dancer, it’s about finding out who you are, what you are capable of and smiling and laughing with a few people along the way!
Good dancing is a series of moves executed cleanly one after the other..Great dancing is movement that flows ceaselessly and adapts itself to the music presented.
It is harder for most guys to learn to follow than it is for ladies to learn to lead.Some people argue that’s because it’s more acceptable for girls to dance with girls- so therefore the chicks get more practice.However I believe that it’s because it’s harder to learn to give up control than to learn to take it. =)
