HEARTBREAKER – ROUND 1
SAT 19THJANUARY
Free-Style-Able Style Workshop FRI 11TH JAN – PART 1
SAT 19TH JAN – PARTS 2 & 3
This is the workshop you’ve all been waiting for. It’s where we take elements of style, such as arm movement, footwork patterns, slides, and yes, even body rolls, and teach you how to incorporate them into your freestyle. The workshops will be practical, and focused on how you can actually lead/follow style elements, and thus incorporate them in your freestyle. There are three parts to the workshop – part one is being taught on Friday 11th Jan from 7pm at Club JBN, followed by social dancing, band parts 2 and 3 are being taught on Sat 19th Jan. Part one will be of a more basic level, with parts 2 & 3 becoming more complex.
Catch the Hits Workshop
(Dips, Drops and Freezes)
SAT 26TH JAN
If you’ve ever wondered how it is the best dancers seem to find exactly the right spot in the music to pull off the dips and other flashy moves? Well, don’t wonder any more, this workshop is for you. In this workshop we’re going to teach you a whole bunch of funky dips, drops, freezes and checks that you can use to highlight your dancing. We’re also going to look at when then best time is to use them, and give you some tips and practice at finding those perfect spots in the music. Come along, and learn how to really use those cool moves you know to make your dancing look really spectacular!
1.Frame is all about keeping your elbows in front of your body and maintaining good posture through the rest of your body.
2.When getting all inspired about aerials, it’s a good idea to stretch and warm-up first.
